Membership fees are paid via direct debit, two weeks in advance, or for 6- or 12-months upfront. Sufficient funds must be in the nominated account by the due date to enable the direct debit to be honoured on the debit date. Debit and credit cards have fees associated with their nomination, and fees associated with fortnightly direct debit payments may differ from any one off payment/purchases. There is an annual administration fee of $25.00, payable upon membership commencement, and is paid annually on the anniversary of each membership with WFC.
Membership allows members to attend an unlimited number of classes for the duration of their membership, in accordance with the WFC membership purchased. Membership can be placed on hold for a minimum of two weeks, up to a maximum of four weeks per year. WFC staff must be provided with a minimum of two (2) weeks written notice in order to place memberships on hold. Membership may be cancelled at any time, which will incur a $0 cancellation fee. In order to cancel membership, WFC staff must be provided with four weeks written notice. Memberships are non-refundable or transferable to another student under any circumstance. Should classes only be attended sporadically during any week/month of membership, members are utilizing said membership, and unattended classes cannot be redeemed/refunded/transferred for use at a later date.
WFC must be informed of any change to address, telephone number, and email address, along with any other information relevant to membership with WFC. The primary method of communication will be via email, and it is the member's responsibility to inform WFC staff on joining if regular access to email is unattainable. If incorrect contact details are provided, or if the member fails to check this method of communication on a regular basis, the member accepts responsibility of not receiving said communication.
Participants must provide the trainers at WFC correct and current health information. WFC cannot be held responsible for any injury or illness that may arise if incorrect or misleading health information is provided. WFC must be informed, as soon as reasonably possible, of any new or developing injury/illness/allergy, to allow WFC staff to ensure the participant's health and safety during participation in classes and/or personal training sessions.
Members and/or parents/guardians of members understand that a 'Grading' is the event whereby Kyokushin Karate students of Warriors Fitness Club test for their next belt (rank). Participation in karate gradings at Warriors Fitness Club is done so at your own risk. Members and/or parents/guardians of members understand that by completing and submitting a grading application form to Warriors Fitness Club, they agree to abide by the rules of the grading and declare they are physically fit and healthy to participate in such a grading, and have not been advised otherwise by a health professional. Members and/or parents/guardians of members understand the grading involves intense physical activity, and in the event of an injury suffered whilst participating in the grading, members and/or parents/guardians of members assume full responsibility.
Management reserves the right to take photos/videos of activities during classes, which may be used in marketing/advertising material. WFC management must be advised should the member not wish for their photo/video to be taken of their participation in classes.
CHANGE OF RULES:
WFC reserves the right to change terms and conditions of membership at any time without requiring notice, and can be found on the WFC website.
WFC management reserves the right to increase membership dues at any time and will inform affected members in writing of any increase with as much notice as they can reasonably provide. If membership fees are increased, the increased fees will not be applicable to the weeks/months for which has already paid.
RIGHT OF ADMISSION:
WFC reserves the right to refuse admission to any person, including members, and has the right to cancel any membership without warning or notice to due to inappropriate behaviour, failure to comply with WFC etiquette or for any other reason that WFC management may decide.
CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION:
Participation in WFC classes will involve physical activity and/or participation in martial arts. WFC management and staff will provide all reasonable and appropriate instruction to ensure each participant's health and safety. However, in the event of injury and/or illness the participant assumes full responsibility to any and all liability resultant from his/her participation in classes.
In the event the participant is under the age of 18 years and membership terms and conditions must be agreed to by the parent and/or guardian of the WFC member/participant, it is the parent/guardian's responsibility to ensure their presence at the premises during classes in which their child/ren are participating, in the event of an emergency, or during any circumstances in which their child/ren require their attention and/or intervention.
Furthermore, parents and/or guardians must be present to pick up their child/ren after class and ensure their safe return home. WFC management and staff are not responsible for the safety of members at class finish times in the event of a parent/guardian's absence. If, in a period of absence, a member under the age of 18 years requires medical attention, the parent/guardian authorize WFC management to call an ambulance, if deemed necessary, to ensure their health and safety.
WFC will keep any and all personal information provided completely confidential. WFC will make all reasonable efforts to ensure that any and all staff members of WFC who have access to my personal information do not make any unauthorized use, notification, reproduction or disclosure of information, and personal information will only be used for the purposes of ensuring members' health and safety for the duration of each class, and to ensure proper and correct management of each membership, respectively. In the event of injury/illness during class participation whereby WFC staff are required to seek medical attention on the member's behalf, personal information may be disclosed to treating medical professional for more precise/effective medical treatment.
Personal Training (PT) sessions are appointment-based sessions, scheduled at a time that suits both the trainer and the client. If the client is unable to attend the PT appointment, trainers must be provided with 24 hours notice in order to allow the appointment to be rescheduled. If a 24-hour notice period is not provided, the appointment fee is forfeited.
6-WEEK TRANSFORMATION CHALLENGE
(a) The participant understands that in order to participate in the WFC 6-Week Transformation Challenge, he/she agrees to the terms and conditions of membership as outlined on the WFC website.
(b) The participant acknowledges that in order to participate in the WFC 6-Week Transformation Challenge, he/she must be comfortable with WFC staff/trainers to follow up with the participant during the challenge to provide ongoing support, discuss progress, and attendance in the event of an extended absence (greater or equal to one week).
(c) The participant acknowledges it is a requirement to attend a minimum of three (3) WFC fitness classes per week, follow the WFC 6-Week Transformation Challenge meal plan/guide, update his/her Facebook profile picture with the WFC 6-Week Transformation Challenge photo provided upon registration for the duration of the challenge, and keep a written diary of food and drink intake, which must be presented to WFC staff on a weekly basis, during weekly progress checks.
(d) The participant must like Warriors' Fitness Club on Facebook, and follow us on Instagram.
(e) The participant acknowledges that WFC reserve the right to take photos/videos of activities during any/all classes, and authorise WFC the use of all such photos, as well as the participant's before and after transformation photos for marketing/advertising purposes.
(f) The participant acknowledges the WFC 6-Week Transformation Challenge is $299.00, however, will receive the challenge 100% free of charge provided the participant stays committed to the challenge for the full 6 weeks (See paragraph (c) above). In order to help keep the participant accountable for his/her full participation in the challenge, payment details must be provided at registration of the WFC 6-Week Transformation Challenge.
(g) The participant understands they are only eligible to complete the WFC 6-Week Transformation Challenge free of charge once; in the event they have not previously registered and completed classes under the Challenge registration previously. If the participant has, once before, registered for the challenge and attended any WFC classes under the Challenge registration, they may complete the Challenge for the full cost of the Challenge, unless they are a current WFC member, in which case they are eligible to participate provided there is sufficient spots available in the challenge.
(h) The participant understands that registration of their position to participate in, and complete the WFC 6-Week Transformation Challenge is incomplete until the terms and conditions of the challenge are agreed upon, and cannot participant in the challenge until such a time as their registration is complete.
If a current member refers a friend, that current member will receive two weeks free membership. The referred friend must become a member of WFC, and mention the referring friend by name in order to claim the loyalty promotion. In the event the current member has two or more family members also members of WFC, the promotion is only valid for one member of the referring family.
2 WEEK FREE TRIAL:
Group Fitness Classes offer a 2-Week Free Trial to all new customers (aged 16+ years). This 2-Week Free Trial allows each new customer to attend as many group fitness classes as is available during any consecutive 14-day period. At the end of the 14-day free trial period, the 2-Week Trial Membership expires and the customer must purchase a membership in order to continue attending classes at WFC.
